2007 Cross Country Team Polices & Schedules - Important dates and policies please read carefully. Physicals and Emergency Care cards are due by Aug. 1st.

All athletes must have a completed VHSL physical form and FCPS Emergency Care Card on file before any participation takes place!! VHSL Physical Form - This is the only form accepted as of April 2007.

2007 Outdoor Track Results:

  • Congrats to the boys team for earning our highest place in school history - 3rd, 1pt out of 2nd and 6pts oout of 1st.
  • We had 5 athletes earn regional championships; Frank Nothaft in the Shot Put and Discus and Taylor Bostick, James Komen, Paul Norland and Ben Treweek in the 4x800m.
• Liberty District Champs - Full Liberty Districts results at Milestat
  • Boys placed 2nd behind Langley and the Girls were 3rd behind Madison and Langley
  • Indivdidual Champions:
    • Frank Nothaft Discus (Meet Record of 156'6) and Shot Put
    • Brian Landry 1600m and 3200m
    • Boys 4x800 of Timmy Galvin, James Komen, Paul Norland and Ben Treweek in a meet record of 8:05.14.

    • Frank Nothaft was voted field event MVP for the 3rd time this season-Congrats!
    • Paul Norland and Brain Landry qualified for the state meet in the 1600m run posting times of 4:21.50 and 4:21.93 respectively.
    • Sarah Watson placed 1st in the Freshmen 800m run 2:23.87.

  • Congratulations to Minna Choi, Hannah Dee, Rebecca Corey and Ioana Cristie for placing 2nd in their heat of 4x400!
  • Paul Norland set a PR of 8:43.70(equals a 9:22.29 3200m) in the Highs School Boys Invitional 3km run on Friday.
• April 18th - vs WTW and Marshall - Partial Results - Full field event results have not been provided yet.
  • Boys and Girls teams placed first in both dual meets. Girls Dual record: 5-1 Boys Dual record:5-1.
• April 14th - Scudieri Team Challenge at West Potomac - TJ only results: individual relay
  • Both teams were 2nd place and Frank Nothaft was voted as the meet MVP for field events!
